CINCINNATI — As we wait for the FDA emergency approval and shipments of the Pfizer vaccine, hospitals are making their plans to administer it within their walls and to others.
Over at UC Health, it’s about organization and patient responsibility to make sure these shots are successful because decisions on who gets the shots are not easy.
“You have to find as many objective ways as you can to narrow who receives the vaccine to the most appropriate folks,” UC Health Emergency Physician and Medical Director for Emergency Management Dustin Calhoun said.
