Trump: Impeachment Moves Causing Anger, But ‘I Want No Violence’

President Donald Trump, under pressure to resign after being accused of inciting a deadly breach of the U.S. Capitol last week, said Tuesday that moves to impeach him are ‘absolutely ridiculous” and causing “tremendous anger,” but added that he does not want violence.

“I want no violence,” Trump told reporters, after branding the efforts against him “a continuation of the greatest witch hunt in the history of politics,” before he left Washington, D.C., to visit the border wall in Alamo, Texas.
