WLWT Digital Staff

CINCINNATI — John Sadak will join the Reds television broadcast team to call play-by-play, replacing longtime broadcaster Thom Brennaman who resigned after muttering an anti-gay slur last season.

New to Cincinnati, Sadak, 41, most recently served as a national TV play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports, a national radio play-by-play announcer for Westwood One and as a radio play-by-play announcer for the New York Mets on WCBS 880.
