China reportedly kept early raw data on COVID-19 hidden from WHO

China complicated the fight against COVID-19 from the start by not giving raw data on early cases to the World Health Organization, according to a WHO official.

A WHO team investigating the origins of the pandemic asked for patient data on 174 cases that Chinese officials said were from the very early days of the pandemic in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December…
