People are more at risk of catching the coronavirus if they have type A blood, a study has found.
Lab-based analysis investigated previous reports that blood group impacts on an individual’s susceptibility to infection with SARS-CoV-2. It revealed that irrespective of blood group the coronavirus is unable to directly infect red blood cells.
