Democratic Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer called for a two-week pause on in-person learning, indoor dining, and youth sports during a Friday press conference.
Whitmer said that the two-week pause is not a mandate, but encouraged Michigan residents to voluntarily participate in order to slow the spread of coronavirus in the state, according to the Detroit Free Press.
