Tuesday, during an appearance on FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) discussed his bill sanctioning Chinese health officials for not cooperating in determining the origins of the COVID-19 virus.
The Florida Republican lawmaker warned the next pandemic could be “far worse.”
“Well, what it says is within 90 days of the bill passing, if China hasn’t allowed for a full, clear, transparent investigation as to how this thing started, we start sanctioning people involved in the sciences over there, people involved in this research, the institutions involved in this research,” he said.
