After Signing $500M Sirius XM Contract

Shock jock Howard Stern managed to shock his loyal fanbase this week, when he announced he is taking the summer off under his new contract with Sirius XM, which is believed to be worth $500million over five years.
On his show Monday, Stern, 67, seemed to imply that he negotiated a clause in the December contract negotiations to give him a break from the end of June through early September, during which time the subscription radio service would air re-runs of ‘The Howard Stern Show.’
