Tropical Storm Elsa entered the Florida Straits Tuesday morning and is headed towards the Florida Keys after drenching Cuba and killing at least three people in the Caribbean.
The National Weather Service took to Twitter for a 5 a.m. E.T. public advisory, alerting that parts of Florida are under a hurricane watch, including a portion of the west-central coast and the Big Bend coast. An earlier alert said conditions are “beginning to deteriorate” across the Keys.
