Appeals court Grants Trump stay in bid to block National Archives handing over White House documents, provided



A federal appeals court panel on Thursday afternoon granted a request by former President Donald Trump to stay a lower court judge’s ruling requiring the National Archives to hand over documents to the House Jan. 6th committee.

The stay is intended to give the court time to consider Trump´s arguments against release of the documents, which was otherwise scheduled for Friday without a court order.
