City saw a 125% increase in vacation rental demand, according to Vrbo

Vacation rental online marketplace, Vrbo, has released its 2022 trend report predicting travel trends for the year ahead and the results may surprise you. Based on their travel demand data, the most up-and-coming destination is Cincinnati, Ohio, with a 125% increase in vacation rental demand. Yorktown, Virginia, and Niagara Falls, New York, secured the second and third spot on the list, respectively, with Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, coming in fourth and Matanuska-Susitna, Alaska, in fifth.
“Demand for Vrbo homes in these up-and-coming destinations has doubled, and we’re excited to see families discovering new places to get away together,” comments Vrbo’s travel expert, Alison Kwong, to Fox Business.
